Any Experience Advice Flying To Kl With Bkk Air And Leave Next Day With Air Asia

Featured Replies

Am flying to KL with BKK Air and next morning leave with Air Asia.

If I understand this correctly, although both have a IATA destination code of KUL, they're about 20km away from each other, right? KLIA arrive with BKK Air and LCCT depart with Air Asia.

Any advice where to stay, near LCCT or KLIA and how to get from KLIA to LCT. Thx.

If I remember correctly it's all pretty easy.

There is a shuttle service between the two airports at regular intervals.

There are city shuttle buses to KL railway station from both at regular intervals. You can book online with Airasia. To KLIA or LCCT takes about 75 mins by bus from KL Central or there is an express train if you prefer. Just leave enough time in case of traffic. As for Hotels, you can stay in KL or there is a TUNE run by Airasia near the airports. Have a great trip!!

Thx

KLIA and LCCT are part of the same airport. The old KL airport, where Firefly flies, Subang, is about an hour or so away.

LCCT and KLIA use the same runway but you can't walk between them. You have to get a bus or a taxi which takes about 20 minutes as you go out to the motorway.

Bus is pence, taxi is maybe 500 baht.
