Sikh Drug Dealers Around Kaosan And Their Religion

All my friends, who knows, what is sikhism, telling me, that it's the most tolerant, positive and productive religion in the world. I see sikhs in every country I visited, managing businesses, living deep in local culture, etc.

But sikh drug dealers at Kaosan very surprised me. Isn't it against their religion?

Why single out Sikh drug dealers...what about the buddist, Christian, muslim drug dealers....isnt drug dealing against their religions too ?

Yep, and it's against agnostic common sense too.

Why single? :) Looks, like this is a big gang, I'd seen of about 3-5 different people and the most strangest thing - they are all elder.

As about "you are lucky man" - and what's will be next? Because they told to me different phrases, but to my friend exactly this phrase, so my friend supposed that they inviting people to some sect and didn't believe to me that they are sell drugs.

Just sounds to em like the OP has an ax to grind with some Sikh and this is a childish way to 'get even'.

Depends on how you interpret the Koran, Bible etc. There are plenty of religious extremists who don't seem to have any problem with killing.

I was reading that the Kodomes religions permits them to sell Drugs. Watch out for Kodome

My understanding is that the "You're a very lucky man, sir" is an invitation to a fortune-telling scam, and correctly responded with "I know - I just got my fortune told for nothing"

Well, I suppose the religion should first define what is a drug & what isn't.

See plenty of Muslims/Christians/Rabbis/BarStools hooked on nicotine.

I see farangs in all countries dealing drugs, different colours, different religions. I'm sikh and was always told growing up by the Granthis that alcohol and drug consumption is an obstruction in meeting god. I'm sure you will find religions that say something similar ... but guess what ... people of other religions take and deal drugs too.

Is this a wind up? You sound like a troll and I can't see anything relevant in this thread so it should be closed down.

Thanks for quotes, wellred! So, now I'm understand that it was fake sikhs.

Yes, leave the area. Nobody in their right minds hangs around Khao San RD.

Are Sikh from Africa ? Because the only drug dealers I saw at Khao San are from Nigeria...

Actually yes you do get a lot of Sikhs originating from Africa. They are not black but just originate from there. Places like Kenya and Tanzania although a lot of left recently due to it being unsafe.

As for the OP though its nothing about them being bad Sikhs. They are just scum. Scum comes in all shapes and colours.

As for Khao San I've never actually been there but as I'm going solo this time I want to check it out. Plus a few Thai girls say its a good spot for drinking. Must be pretty harmless there with all the farangs no? Drug dealers aside of course.
