Buying Hi Fi

Featured Replies

hello

i have looked around chonburi for shops that sell decent hi-hi. i don't recognise any of the brand names, although there is a shop sri racha, that sells bmw/bose etc. but i am really looking for mission or acoustic research speakers? plus i'd like a yamaha amp with dts and digital in.

richer sounds in the uk have some great deals 6000 bht for mission speakers! but they wont ship to thailand.

does anyone know how the thai brands compare with other hi fi in quality etc.

hi

if you are looking for new stuff and have a chance to go to BKK, there are a few shops in world trade center, mainly they sell Asian labeled audio systems, but off high quality.

if you are looking for second hand (serviced with warranty), check out Pantip on the 5th floor next to the lifts. They have loads of stuff here.

For both, all the systems are mainly in digital format.

I think that many off the brands have similar insides and specs, but its the name and service support you pay for. :o

good hunting

ps, if you in pattaya, check out second road for speakers

There's no such thing as "high quality Asian labeled speakers"..

Check out Audio Concert, I hear that they stock B&W Speakers. Not sure what else they stock.
