Poppy Appeal 2012

The Ex Service community confirm that British & Commonwealth citizens will once again have the opportunity to participate in the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Please note:

- Distribution of boxes started last Saturday & should be completed by the weekend.

- The official dates for Remembrancetide 2012 are Sun 28^th Oct-Sun 11^th Nov inc.

- A Service of Remembrance is planned for Sun 11^th @ Shakespears bar on the Ghost road in Bang Rak. Further details will be published later.

- We (the ex service community) appreciate the support we receive each year, as does the Poppy Appeal HQ/Royal British Legion in UK.

Remembrance Service Sunday 11th November 2012

A service of Remembrance will be held this Sunday the 11^th November 2012 at The Shakespeare Pub on the Ghost Road in Bang Rak.

Those wishing to attend should arrive at The Shakespeare Pub by 10:30 am

The service is open to everyone. The only observation regarding dress is that attendees please wear a Poppy. Poppies are available at venues around the Island and at The Shakespeare Pub on the 11th.
