BUT, I am a bit sick and tired that the publicity -all-over-the-world is giving these Islamic extremists the 'space' to ventilate their thoughts that THEIR Religion/Believe is the ONLY one in the world that counts....and that ANYONE who does not belong to 'Allah' is doomed :D for being a non-believer... :D

I wish everyone would respect the others' religion and not bash and beat it :D

I would say: PRAY in SILENCE in your own Religion/Believe and go home in peace and SHUT UP! :D

I see what you mean. This is just noise and the media and some extremists looking for attention. Probably a slow week on the news, or maybe someone is trying to cover up more disturbing news :o

I think most muslims are not looking for that kind of attention, it doesn't help their cause

Well, if they are not looking for attention, the moderates are sure not speaking up and the situation is getting worse for the west & free-speech advocates. :D

Western Leaders Cringing and Begging

The cowardly appeasement and self-abasement of Western leaders and media in the face of Islamic threats and intimidation over the Danish cartoons has not gone unnoticed by Islamists—and it bodes very ill for the future: Modernity and protests by Muslims

“The cartoons were transmitted world-wide via a network of interlinked Islamist websites and portals, they were discussed and criticized in Islamist chat-rooms in cyberspace, and the protests against them were likewise organized and coordinated in cyberspace. How modern can Muslims get?

What we have seen therefore is clear evidence of a globalize Muslim world on the march. Islamist NGOs, parties, movements, civil society groups, media outlets and politicians have mobilized Muslims and got them on the streets to demonstrate the will of the Muslim masses and — more importantly — the power of the Muslim dollar. The boycott of Danish goods has shown that the Muslim dollar has clout — Muslims are rich, by the way — and that the Muslim dollar can make or break Western economies.

But beyond the spectacular aspect of these demonstrations and their equally spectacular results (leading to Western leaders cringing and begging for forgiveness on Arab-Muslim TV channels) we have lost sight of the issue itself and the real underlying problems that perhaps could have done with a little more academic interrogation.”

Appeasment never works. :o

Anti Protestors blow up Muslim Center for Free Speech.

Four Danish Anti Protestor Protestors were caught trying to detonate an Ikea manufactured Device in front of the Muslim Center for Free Speech.

:o Okay load of cr8p but could have been quite funny...

'Lego' would have been more clever. IKEA is Swedish-founded.

Appeasement never works. :D

I seems as if Boon Mee has the unruly natives of Bedlam firmly under control. :o

BTW - welcome to Bedlam. Looking forward to your good input too! :D

NEXT, THEY CAME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY

"We will not let anyone sell these cards or celebrate Valentine's Day," said Asiya Andrabi, the group's leader, as she held a burning poster in her hand. "These Western gimmicks are corrupting our kids and taking them away from their roots."

She said that the raids were carried out "not to harm anyone but to make them realize that this is against Islam's teachings."

Can you say "Dhimmitude?" :o
