Sharp
Quick question if a ex pat is under going hospital treatment on a monthly basis would they be eligible for health insurance of any description for meds or services due to the fact they have a work permit and business visa. Thanks for any help Sent from my iPad using ThaiVisa app
koolbreez
No insurance covers pre-existing conditions. If the person has paid into Thai social security for over a year, and paid his taxes he might qualify for social security medical though. Still not exactly clear on how it all works, but I do know foreigners that pay in are eligible.
