use shipito.com for non international shipping items from amazon.

Never had a problem with books or DVD's from Amazon UK. Received my last 3 books from Amazon 4 weeks ago.

Perhaps Amazon.de has different rules

Amazon ships dvds and books internationally. They never ship electronics or lets say, most of the items other than books and dvds to out of USA/CANADA.

Tried to order from Amazon.com too and was rejected (see photo).

Just a book.

Nothing else.

Wont accept the shipping address.

Amazon WILL ship some stickers to me (if i wanted them), but not the book.

Guess it was the book.

Its one of those self-help type books lol (yes, strange creature that i am.. i actually decided to by a self-help book! - first time ok!)

Guess Amazon thinks i dont need it, and tshirt transfer stickers would be a much better option for me....

Could be wrong but I suspect this has to do with Thailands failure to join up to international anti-money laundering efforts, expect overseas bank transfers to become more difficult also until legilslation is passed.

I did a bit of research and what it boils down to is USED BOOKS

Amazon wont let me purchase a used book..something about rights and violations.

Just purchase the same book but NEW.

....hope that helps someone at some point.

Are you sure that it's Amazon that's selling the book rather than some other seller using the Amazon Marketplace to sell it? If it's a used book I suspect it may not be Amazon who's selling it. All of the sellers who use Amazon Marketplace have different shipping criteria.

The used books are sold buy independent bookstores, amazon just provides the conduit ... Ihad to have some that I bought brought by family members on vacation (3rd country) where I got them and took them back. You can have family members or friends sned them to you - just more cost and more aggravation
