Thai Wife In Uk, Wants Mortgage In Thailand, Pattaya

Featured Replies

hi,

ok guys, this is only a question, my wife is toying with the idea of buying a house in pattaya, she works in uk but wants to know if she can get a mortgage and what are the conditions.

as i say, only a question and something for her to think about maybe for later down the line.

if she still has her thai id card.

scb bank will give her an 80 % loan if she's working or a 50% loan to you if you are here on a 1 year visa

or i under stand that some or all of condo builders give 100%

Varies from branch to branch, My wife doesn't work and I am working abroad however SCB gave my wife a 70% mortgage and I am the guarantor,

it also deoends on your age.

can only end in tears....sorry,just a joke, couldn't resist it.

what a fool ? why ?

You can try to ask UOB bank or MBK Loan for this case.

If your wife needs to loan alone while she still takes Thai citizen. It's easy, she can loan any Thai's banks , just prepare the letter and documents as company reference letter, Pay Slip, Copied of bank account and the original one for show, accomdation in UK and etc. Ask the financial for requestment.
