My TR visa expires on Dec.1 and I'm leaving on Dec. 4th 5:55 am.So that would be 3 days overstay? Which would be 1500 baht,or I do extension for 1800 baht. The thing I worry about is that I'm flying down to Krabi and when I'm coming back will they give me problems at airport? If any thing happens to me while I'm on overstay can I get in serious trouble?

Do the extension. If you were stopped when you were on overstay you could be arrested and end up in IDC, not woth 400 baht!

Extension, 1900 baht. Overstay 3 days, 1500 baht. 1900 - 1500 = 400, unless my American math is wrong!

Generally, the only reasonable advice can be to never overtstay in Thailand because it is considered breaking the law and can therefore result into very stern reactions.

Immigration is taking the subject nowadays much more serious than in the past.

So rather extend timely than overstay. Not even a single day.
