There are no places to stay in Udonthani. There are no girls there either. Go instead to Ubon. Better yet, go cut rice. I heard that's where all of the girls are right now.

I will tell you what to think,if your girlfriend has left you after three days in Chiang Mai(to go and cut rice rolleyes.gif ) then she either really doesn't like you or she is lying to get away from you...................so as you are now asking the question about another city in Thailand to go and get some girls, then she is well rid of you.

A bit off topic but is the shopping centre in Udon Thani now finished from building works was there last february and was a complete mess .... Cheers

If you refer to the one close to the train station, yes it's finished.

Quite nice and in the basement a lot of food stalls where the farangs come to get breakfast, lunch and whatever.

The bookshop in the basement has good choice of language books.

Bye,

Something does not add up here, or?

On 16.11. you visit your GF family in Isaan and everything is ok.

Until, 21/22.11. you are already back in Chiang Mai with her and she is, soon, after 3 days, as she says back again in -Surin- to help her family with the rice harvest.

That is true and happened?

But you did not go with her, or she did not want you go and you want now to go to Udon Thani, looking for a girl, ST, LT?

Something is fishy here, from you,her or both of you.rolleyes.gif

Udon Thani Province and city, I know well, I stay there in a rural village.

Udon Thani city women, Bar-Working girls, few, in two small Bar complexes 600 m apart .

But not worth the trip to come here. Top Mansion Hotel in Udon Thani city is a good and inexpensive Hotel, right in the middle of town,

near new Central Shopping Center, Next to small Bar Centernot far from the other Bar Center, -Nutty Bars-giggle.gif and surrounded by some Falang Restaurants.

Night and day you'll find plenty of women to help ya out.Have fun,it's a nice city.

Good lord. There's Centara, The Pannerai and so many others. No offense to anyone, but why bother with a "modest" place when one can get a very nice 4* for 1000 baht a night? (e.g. Pannerai). At least they have security and you're near the Central plaza and a Robinsons in case you need new knickers or something. Sometimes I wonder if you Issan people know how good you have it.

Know what the same room at the Pannerai or Centara goes for on Phuket? 4000-6000 baht.

Yes, Central shopping center is now open. Very nice. Better than I expected.

I would concur. The Centara is in a great location, has a reasonable price and was just renovated. Another new place next door to the Irish Clock. Looks very nice. As for evening entertainment, hit Mr Tongs after 10pm and a new joint just a few doors down after hours. Can't recall the name, but just follow the crowd from Mr Tongs.
