Where To Get Parts Chromed Or Re-Chromed?

Hi.

I'm on Samui and nobody on the local forums knows where to get things chromed/re-chromed.

There is obviously nothing local - the nearest no doubt being buried somewhere in Surat Thani.

Anyone know of a shop in BKK where this can be done?

Any email or phone numbers?

I can get my Thai friend to call and sort out details and mailing costs both ways.

Ta in anticipation,

R

Thailaw would you please tell us where the chroming place in Pattaya is.

I used this place a while ago

for a couple of bits but the chromed exhaust pipe rusted rather quickly.

Almost directly across from Underwater World on Sukumvit (and just after Macro on the opposite side of Sukumvit) going south towards Sattahip. From the sign shown in your picture it is probably the same place. He rechromed a horn cover and the screws for me. It was badly rusted, and when I got it back it looked great and held up well until I sold the bike 6 months ago. The place in BKK may do a heavier chrome plating -- not sure.
