Trip To Korat

Featured Replies

Hi guys, like to go to Korat for a couple of days. Any suggestions where to stay ? About 700 Bt. There are two bus stations I've heard, an old one and a new one. Which one is closer to the city center ?

Both bus stations are in the centre of town really, so no worries there. They are also quite close to one another. As for somewhere to stay in that price range? I am not sure to be honest. There is one called Sabai Hotel which is probably nearer 1000 a night. You can probably find others with lower charges if you search the www before traveling. Hope that helps.

I have stayed at Sabai many times. Its OK

Sri Pattana is 650 without breakfast and 680 with. The breakfast is crap. Room are fairly large, comfortable bed. Air, TV etc. Located opposite the Check Inn Bar and Restaurant which is a great place. Plenty of local transportation available, tuk tuk.

The Raya Grand in Suebsiri, about 10 minutes from the centre by tuk tuk, has great rooms at 650 Baht inc a good breakfast.

Lots of restaurants/bars/nightlife nearby too.
