I just use a plastic one bought in Tukcom (it's keeping my Laptop nice & Cool), even Big C Extra sells them.

80 baht transparent plastic one (- I removed the blue LED as unnecessary) plugs into USB. Made in China, bought from Amorn Electronics. Used for 3 years, no issues. If it melts today, it's still been good value.

My current laptop does not have DVD player so I got an combo device which has the laptop fan, DVD RW and 2.5" removable usb disk case. Bought from Hardware house.

This unit is not very good on any of these tasks, but I guess there are others, which could do a better job.

One thing I've found having used a few different ones is if you are buying a cheap model then get one with a single large fan, the ones with several small fans aren't much good.
