Problem On Start Up With Fujitsu Lifebook A Series.....

Featured Replies

In short will not reach the password page............

Closed down by only option and then restarted using the "safe option" which took me automatically into "start up repair" programme.........

After couple minutes it tells me to restart now and works normally thereafter. I thought after initial "repair" it had been sorted but on second reboot its done the same again..........

Got off Ebay and certainly under warranty but sending back is an unviable option if I can get one of you wizards to advise ??

JJ where are you.......smile.png

Thanks.

Until you get a better offer, after using it, don't shutdown, rather put it in 'sleep' mode.

Easy to rewake by hitting start key, bypassing problematic bootup.

Sounds like you need to apply a boot-repair tool (which can be downloaded onto a usb stick).

Presume you are using Win7 Home Prem?

Don't give up, search through forums on www., help is out there but... Good luck, AA

Yes cheers Buddy that was my intention re Sleep Mode...

Yes Windows 7 HP.....

Couple of things I'd try - reset the BIOS to defaults (I think F2 during boot then F9 for defaults and F10 to save).

Then, if it's still a problem try MSCONFIG and remove some startup options - sounds like a particular driver is incorrect and causing the problem at startup? You can try unticking them all and putting them back one at a time - if you're familar with the task you can probably narrow it down to a few likely contenders?

Good luck

if you have axcess to another computer down load "cureit" (free progrom) put on usb stick.

just install usb stick, start up,this program by passes all start up items, should take care of your prolbem.

fix's everything
