Gulfsailor Posted December 5, 2012 Share Posted December 5, 2012 That's why people needs to go SOLAR. In Thailand the whole country could be run by solar power. Voltovotaic (solar panels)... Sounds so nice in a sunny place like Thailand. Except that these things lose 40% of their efficiency in high temperatures. Plus a lot of demand is at night, from AC's, which means soring all that solar power somehwere for use at night. Batteries will double the cost ov solar power once more. So unless you would like to start paying 4 - 6 times for your electricity, than what you are paying now, solar not really a solution for a tropical country... Copies of PEA printed notices or real government websites are the only reliable sources of info. Let's stop all the rumors from friends of friends or "my Thai staff said they heard such as such... What I am telling you is no rumours.
