What Does The Google Nexus 7 Sell For In Thailand?

Featured Replies

I see the 16GB version sells for $200 and the 32GB is $250 in the US, which is equivalent to around 6000 and 9000 baht, I'm yet to see a quality name brand tablet in Thailand for less than around 14,000 baht. I've been to Powerbuy, Big C Extra, Lotus and Tucom in Pattaya and have yet to see a Google Nexus 7. Am I looking in the wrong places?

Well it actually works out a 10, 321 baht for me, that includes EMS shipping and paying by Paypal. Probably around $50 more than you'd pay for it in the US, or 25% more. What can you do, this is Thailand.

BTW, does it come with any kind of warranty?

That's actually a pretty good deal as the 16 GB N7 (localized by Asus) has an MSRP of 9,900. Any Asus shop, in any mall here, should have the N7 as well.

If you were to order from Google in the U.S., for delivery in the U.S., you would of course pay shipping and any applicable sales tax, or from a regular store, sales tax, where applicable.

FWIW, there is a 3G version available now, at least in the U.S.

I don't think I've ever seen an Asus shop in Pattaya.

Your maths is a bit out. $250 is about ฿7650 not ฿9000, so the prices in Thailand are not fantastic.

No they're not, but if you have to pay shipping from the US to Thailand you probably won't save a lot.

Hi Mxxxxx

Thank you for your inquiry.

I'm afraid we are not able to get the Nexus 7 and haven't
