I am pissed off ! Had "REAL" pork sausages imported from UK for christmas BBQ ! all now in the bin !

Talk about a joke, was given no warning about power cut now in 3rd day, on Samui. Mai Pen Lai reigns.

It just happened and someone must have known, Authorities could'nt organise a piss up in a brewery. Its no wonder they just 'throw the towel in' when attacked.

Something is missing in your objective report: why didn't/don't you just eat them now?

people who arent at samui dont understand the frustration.

pal was just out of samui and constantly bitching at phone. apparently even the phone network was down

Why ? The power goes out for hours everywhere especially when it rains.

It's something you have to accept if you choose to live in a developing world country, especially if you choose to live on a island in a developing world country.

Edit: just seen 3rd day not hours. Move to civilisation. wink.png

When I first got to Thailand people didn't have refrigerators in private homes. When I wanted a cold beer I'd holler at a local kid to run to the end of the street and buy a cold one from the vendor at the little store.

"Heaven: the policeman is British, the lover is Italian, the cook is French, the engineer is German and it is all organized by the Swiss.

Hell: the policeman is German, the lover is Swiss, the cook is British, the engineer is French and it is all organized by the Italians."

yeah nice expectation of samui. its out for 3 days for god sake, frustrations are expected. its actually pretty bad for those unprepared. no fuel, no network and heck if you ran out of cash, you couldnt even withdraw from the atm

Life must be good if the biggest gripe is sausages.

Try Sausage King - Chiang Mai forum sponsor - for your replacements. He delivers all over Thailand, reports say still frozen on arrival. Choice of sausages and other Christmas meals.

He's British.
