LMAO. certainly didnt spot the mk2 at first sight, but now you mention it, LOL.

Oddly they have been made that one for years, the older ones from the mid 90's.well in UK in 1993, were all wood and leather inside ....... the photo is a 2013 model Viewt and colour is Cherry Green, the inside looks as they have come from the Nissan March...

Want a funny pickup from 1994 ?

Not sure if you're referring to the Jaguar UK years of build but the Mk2 was built from 1959 until 1967. Presume you are talking about the Hybrids in the 80's/90's?

???????? Sorry makes no sense. picture is of the Matsuoka Viewt,

THAT IS what we are talking about on this Topic Matsuoka models......

they started making this model Matsuoka Viewt in 1993, it is a re bodied Nissan Mica, the early ones had a 1.3 engine, the new 2013 model has the 1.2 engine, the interior of the new ones look as if lifted straight out of the Nissan Mica/March.....

Jags I know as I have owned 3 all were the 3.4 lt engine, back then engine size for the Mk2 Jag was 2.4, 3.4 and 3.8.. I also owned the same bodied Daimler V8

There are loads more, the early cars were made on Mazda chassis running gear, newer ones appear to use Nissan

They were on display at the BKK Car show in April and drew a lot of attention because of the models (even tho my gf told me they were ladyboys) and the cars were attention gathers too. They are apparently "handmade" (translate into limited production numbers) in Japan and had whopping pricetags . There other models too.

Was the fist one any better looking ?

from 2001,,,, yep 11 years ago,,,,,,,,,, quote: While the tech specs of the car aren’t puny by its standards - a 3.3-liter 230 horsepower Toyota Camry V6 engine - whatever good graces its performance gives out is totally undermined by the car’s reprehensible exterior.

Unlike some here, I am not a petrolhead, but do appreciate slick lines and design on any car.

However, I think its fair to suggest we now take a well deserved pit stop on this one before someone is black flagged for being too wrapped up in specs and techs. coffee1.gif

Saw a young Farang guy driving one (this one?) on Huawy Kaew Rd the other day. As they are made from a modified Mitsubishi Mirage with its puny 1.2 litre, 3 cylinder engine I can't imagine that it goes near as well as it looks. 2.8million or so seems a big mark up for a modified 400K Mirage too.

(null)

It's got a 2L Mazda LF-VE(RS) engine and the price is 3,880,000 Baht...

Around £79,000,you could get a super quality car for that money, instead of a tarted up monstrosity.

VW Rollswagen

I have seen them in Jamaica, Cuba, France, UK, lots in the USA all over, Germany, Portugal, so guess many other places, now appear to be at least one in Thailand. some of the real old ones have just 2 headlights but most with the twin headlights
