What took so long to get the Mac!!! ? biggrin.png

The Cat dongle should just plug and play.... never had a problem with it, which dongle do you have.... ? MC 760 ?

If the guys are good at your local Cat shop, pop down there and they should be able to sort it.... (they may need to up date the driver) I had same problem with Windoze 7 a few years ago.

The CAT dongle is probably going to be de-funked fairly soon....(that story keeps on going, on) ....are you aware of that?

What ever you do, do not replace with True... unless you don't use the internet much!!! wink.png

yes with the dongle i have only seen one person be able to connect it to there macbook and im sure it involved updating a driver for the usb port ,yes they reckon the cat sysytem is getting switched off end of december see what happens then.

Did it rain all the way? , been pissing down here on Samui most of the afternoon !

So pop done to CAT office tomorrow then, although you obviously have another connection to write this, so see if there is a driver update...

Google the model number you have, it's a Canadian company that they come from, but name escapes me at the moment~ blink.png

Good luck! thumbsup.gif

Oh make sure to register your Mac, via the Mac Store, unless they did that at the store.... you need to do that to get updates etc... wink.png

My CAT CDMA modem came with a CD that had both Windows and Apple drivers on it. That said, CDMA is pretty much dead and buried so what is the use? CAT cut my service off at the end of August. It is very likely that you may be whipping a dead horse.

I went to the cat office in Nathon today and they told me that as from 1st january 2013 that cat will only offer pay as you use when I asked further they informed me that there will no longer be an unlimited service and that the new charge is 1 bht per minute and that there will be no refund for the dongle. I also picked up my bill up from the maenam post office for 845.30 for usage 1/11/12 thru 30/11/12 so am considering not paying really fed up with them you would think they would inform there users regarding changes when they send the bill but no mention so those on Samui be aware as of 1st January 2013 it will be 1 bht per minute tomorrow I will ring the contact centre on 1322 as I could not manage to get thru today Thants catcom great way to start the New Year
