I'm using a Sophon 2mbit/s premium cable connection in Pattaya. Youtube 360p always works without buffering. 480p sometimes. 720p only on popular videos.

The available resolutions are:

240p / 360p / 480p / 720p HD / 1080p HD.

ToT + as backup 3BB and 360 is no problem during the Day, same with 720 at night or early Morning.

True Docsis 14/1.4 Mbps.

Highest resolution no problem if the video is cached on Google servers within Thailand.

If not cached I can get buffering even at 240p !

Sophon/CAT.

No problem day or night with any resolution from YouTube if the server is in the US. From Europe? Forget it. Even the lowest res hardly works.

True Docsis 15/1.5 Mbps.

Alway on 720p for windowed browser. 1080p if want to view full screen. No buffer at all. Sometime some clips will load slower. Just refresh couple times will do.
