I think I have drank about 9 liters of water, Coke and orange juice ...

If you're out in that kind of heat for any length of time you should take salt

tablets and drink heaps of water. If you can't find salt tablets a packet of

table salt will work fine.

Lack of salt in the body leads to heatstroke quickly and if you;re out on

your bike alone...well...people die from heatstroke in that kind of

temprature...in the shade or not. Rarely does anybody feel heatstroke

coming on...ya just pass out.

A couple signs of it's onset...You stop sweating. Your skin may feel very

cool to the touch and you may not "feel" that when you touch your arm,

face etc. A person out in severe heat looses salt through sweating more

than one realises.

Stay hydrated & lick up some salt.

Might be like that on some areas of Samui today! ^^^... we have looming clouds!

After Buddha had taken his fill it was distributed to who ever was around.

Including the usual seagulls. Abhisit was behind me worrying part of the pigs head.

That's mine, I'd already had the main course then cooked the toast and had the kettle on for the coffee before being told what was happening,

So, yesterday afternoon we had 47 *C in the shadow and in the evening and beginning of the night a big storm with much wind ;

At about 7 pm " fai-dap ", no electricity ...

It was coming back maybe in the night , I don't know ;

What I discovered from 5.30 am to about 9 am on my way to Nong_Han - ( rd 22 Udon -- Nakhon_Phanom )

We are a little bit after Ban_Han_Noi and before Ban_Kham_Mor

The wind was very strong ;

Spotted these just outside Den Chai today alongside the road heading towards Lampang.Painstakingly put together

using peices of naturally shaped wood possibly with minor adjustments to fit.

A huge rain storm today.... Maenam Samui..... I drove about 30 kms today and never actually got caught in the rain... but my feet got wet going through this!

I could actually see the plane with the naked eye before itwent into the cloudbank.
