WASHINGTON: -- Republican senators have refused to vote on Sen. John Kerry’s appointment as the new Secretary of State until the incumbent top foreign official, Hillary Clinton, testifies about the deadly attack on the US embassy in Benghazi.

Mrs. Clinton missed the Benghazi hearing scheduled for December 20 on Capitol Hill due to a sudden illness.

"While suffering from a stomach virus, Secretary Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, sustaining a concussion," her deputy assistant secretary said in a statement on December 15.

On December 19, the Secretary of State skipped a holiday party at her own department. She was still absent on December 21 when President Obama announced Kerry’s nomination.

“Hillary wanted very much to be here today, but she continues to recuperate. I had a chance to talk to her earlier today, and she is in good spirits and could not be more excited about the announcement that I’m making,” Barack Obama said that day.

Hillary Clinton was the first high-ranking official to acknowledge terrorist involvement in the US mission assault in Libya.

In her September speech at a UN summit in New York, she said Al-Qaeda was working with “other violent extremists to undermine the democratic transitions underway in North Africa, as we tragically saw in Benghazi.”

Then when 911 happened they did nothing but call Americans that didn't believe in attacking Iraq un-American. Yes, what happened in Benghazi was terrible. No argument there. Why does it have to be mentioned every time Hillary's name comes up, because Fox says that's the way it should be?

Soon after the inaugaration of 2001, Condi Rice was handed a brief suggesting that there were foreign elements planning a major terrorist attack on the US mainland. She handed it back to her aid, scolding the aid for wasting her time with such nonsense. Where's all the moral outrage from the fine pillars of righteousness who can't say Benghazi often enough? This is a rhetorical question, not meant to steer toward a 9/11 discussion (groan!). The guy who had the title of president from 2001-2009 showed zero comapssion for the people he was sending to war and their families. I'm just making the point that all this Benghazi riling is not about moral outrage at all, just more screaming from the flying monkeys of partisanship.

Krauthammer sounds like a WWII propaganda slogan. Read up on his personal history, you may come away with the prospect that there is something wrong going on between his ears.
