Popular Post ThaiBob
Ate at Jim's Burgers & Beer tucked away behind the new Central Marina on the road that runs parallel to 2nd Road. Small and funky, this place features 10 different burgers and imported tap and bottled beers. Burgers come in two sizes and there are a few interesting sides. They have Bangkok locations also. Burgers surprisingly are not traditional and may not be to everyone's liking but I enjoyed mine. 3
hackjam
Had the burger at Jim's last week, well impressed, very juice too and reasonably priced for quality of burger, much better and cheaper than the crap burger I had in Hooters on Beach Road. 1

Popular Post toenail
Jim's Burgers & Beer is a quaint little restaurant that is on the street that runs behind Central Marina (Big C north Pattaya)-parallel to 2nd that empties into Pattaya North Street. Once you see the dance club Differ (if you are traveling north) it is on your left side behind a cyclone fence with a basketball hoop for dunking a few basketballs while waiting for your order -- I guess). If you are shopping at Central Marina it is only a 5 minute walk from the Big C parking lot. There is a small outdoor area with 4-5 tables and a small casual seating area inside the "cafe". Different choices of burgers & homemade buns along with two sizes of burgers. Yes, they are mouthwatering with the toasted bun. Unfortunately the fries or hash browns are nothing special (wish the thick Belgium fries were offered). There are also salads available ( will try next time). If you get there after 7pm it fills up & customer service & organization begins to decline. The imported draft beers are sooo good ( but difficult to order your 2nd one when the place gets busy. The place would benefit from better management- One of the few small, private eating establishments in Pattaya that is attracting a steady expat clientele by word of mouth ( it certainly isn't the location). Let's hope they can afford extra help during peak hours 6-8. Opens at 5pm. Google "Jim's Burgers" & you will see a map. ThaiBob
The fries at Jim's may not be special but the portion is large and certainly better than the McDonald's, Burger King, etc. I would also like to try the salads next visit. 1
Popular Post ThaiBob
For those who like American style BBQ ribs give Smokin' Joe's on Soi Lenkee next to the Steak & Co a try. My ribs were delicious as were the sides. They also have a short Thai menu if you have a Thai friend. Portions large, prices reasonable for the quality. Comfortable seating, a/c, friendly staff that repeats your order. https://www.facebook.com/Smokin-Joes-BBQ-1601796020117429/ 2

Popular Post champers
After recommendations on this forum I went to Richman Poorman at the start of Soi 9 in Jomtien. Well worth the visit. Big portions and an apple pie to finish that is to die for. 3

Roger Lee
Kiss Food & Drink restaurant on 2nd Rd in Jomtien has a pretty good plate of barbecued ribs all for 170 baht. Though a little small they were definitely fall off the bone good with plenty of sauce, I didn't even touch the extra sauce.Next time I'll have to try the strip loin for 270 baht. Not sure if this special is offered at their other locations or not.Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect
