I Need Static Ip

Hi I have 3BB and its dynamic Ip,and I need to have static IP.(business related) so I read google and there is tips how to change it on your computer and ,for sale etc so I am confused what I should do?.Of course i can go and ask my ISP and proberly pay a lot so any of you guys have static IP? from who and what did you have to do to install it?how much did you pay?monthly costs? thx

3BB has packages with static ip. http://www.3bb.co.th/product/product_detail.php?id=2092 But you could also use dyndns or a vpn endpoind.

One of the dynamic DNS systems (dyndns, no-ip etc.) may well suit and for a much smaller sum (free).

Good answer, but dyndns stopped being free (14 day trial only) in recent history. No-ip is still working fine though.

ok tanks guys,just come back from 3BB and its 2900 a month + vat so around 3100 and that is ok,and yes i need it for business purpuse. I did find cheaper options on internet but I also read about warnings that the ISP supplier can give some problem if I buy from outside sources. Dont know with 3 BB but its not worth to take a chanse ,realy importent in my case so 3BB it will be,Thx again guys

Think about it a little longer (DNS)... When you'll change ISP (with 3BB we already know you will) you will also have to change IP.

Oh and by the way, DynDNS is 600 to 900 bahts/year

And you still can get free dyndns, just a bit more complicated.

Subscribe, give credit card details, they will not charge for 14 days, few days later you cancel and you're allowed to keep one url forever free...

Did this recently for a bloke whose router could only update to dyndns servers...
