Hi, where's a good place to look for used bicycles in Chiang Mai?.

I'm interested in a "one-speeder," not a mountain bike, probably like the big wheel tourist bikes seen around town.

There are now a lot of shops selling second-hand bikes from Japan. You need to shop around and check individual bikes carefully, but there are some very good quality bikes (quality components throughout) available for 2 or 3 thousand Baht. In my opinion this is a much better option than buying the cheap rubbish available in the supermarkets and some of the local Thai bike shops...

There are lots of these appearing throughout the city. One that I bought a great bike from a few months ago is on Chiang Phueak Road. Heading North from the moat it is, I guess, 500m or so up the road, on the right at the first (I think) set of traffic lights. Somewhere near to here.
