I am considering having my sister in the USA ship a LG Nexus 4 to my house in Chiangmai. Have been searching quite a bit on the forums but could not find answers so time for my first post at TV. :)

I have two questions:

1) If I ship it via USPS with a few other small things, what is the likelihood that it will be stopped at customs and charged a duty? Has anyone had a good/bad experience shipping a smaller electronic device into Thailand?

2) If my package is stopped and inspected at customs, what is a rough estimate of the duty charge?

Thank you in advance for any feedback/advice!

Using USPS your chances of bypassing Thai customs are good. My daughter shipped me a new MACBOOK PRO ,it arrive with no problem and no Thai customs, Use International priority mail, delivery about 5-6 days.
