Miracle Fruit

Anyone here mess with Miracle fruit,(synsepalum ducificum)? Its a small red berry that maked sour things taste sweet. I see it advertised on many places in the states but very expensive. I have a supply in freezer, and can dehydrate as well if anyone interested, I have a great producing plant here! You can eat a lemon or lime like an orange, or even a onion like an apple! Just curious if anyone has used these or has an interest.

Might be worthwhile growing although i find it strange that you would want to sweeten the taste of lemons or limes . I can eat lemons just like an orange as it is - love the bitter taste and dislike too much sugar taste - a real problem in LOS..

Found a relative that had a few plants and got one off him! Fun was, when I got the kids to eat a raw onion, they thought I did some kind of majic!
