If Taksin Goes Who Takes Over?

If/when Taksin leaves office who would be in a position to take up the reigns. Judging by the TV pictures of Taksins opponents few of them would pass the "would you buy a used car from this man" test. Is it perhaps a case of "better the devil you know"?
