Anyone Able To Sign Up To The Free Ict Tot Wifi?

Featured Replies

I picked up a Wifi signal on my phone and when I connected I was prompted to register.

This is the site: http://vip.totwifi.com/ict-metro1/regis.php

Is this the new free wifi service in Bangkok/Thailand that has just been launched?

I tried to sign up but it said my passport number was incorrect (it wasn't).

Is it only for Thais? Or is the form broken?

Thanks!

I did it and got on. It was totally ridiculous, don't waste your time. I guess the one case where it would be useful is if you need it for like 15minutes at a time, because you get logged off. But try it.

I tried it today with both my old and new U.S. passport numbers, and both times their system gave back an "incorrect passport number" message, even though the two passport numbers I entered were correct..

So either their signup system is broken, or I wonder what passport number they think I have...

how many digits do they need ?

they have no way to check if it is correct or not !

I never succeeded in signing up on a Thai website yet. They ask you stuff like 'customer number' when you aren't yet a customer, rant, rant
