Purchased Truemove Prepaid Microsim 99Baht - How To Get Unlimited 30 Days 3G Internet?

Featured Replies

Sorry if this seems a basic question but I tried looking up on the truemove website and also asking the 7-11 people but couldnt get a clear answer.

I bought a 99 baht truemove microsim and a 50baht topup at 7-11. I have the card inserted in my ipad. I do not own a microsim phone.

How do I purchase a 30 days unlimited internet 3G package for the microsim? Can I ask 7-11 to topup the card for the required amount and the card would identify the package automatically? What would be the required amount? Please advise!

I assume you are talking about TrueMove H?

If so, you may need the TrueMove H iSIM, which allows for account management via a web-site.

You can use TrueMoney - scratch cards you buy pretty much anywhere - to add value to your account, via the website. You could also add value to the telephone number of your SIM, or the iSIM, at 7-11's by just giving them the number and some cash.

I am pretty sure you can subscribe to a data plan on the iSIM website.

You can subscribe to recurring plans which offer unlimited internet usage albeit with a FUP speedlimit, or a single hard-capped 30 day non-recurring plan.

Alternatively you could a mini-micro SIM carrier to use in any standard phone, and then manage your account from that phone.

There are some videos on youtube showing use of the iSIM, in Thai but should give you a feel for how to use.

You will have to subscribe to a plan. If you just put a load of credit on the phone you will be charged at the highest rate. If you look at the plans there is a number to sms to subscribe to the plan you chose. I had difficulty in setting my plan up so I went to the True shop and they did it for me. All messages that come through are in Thai, further complicating things. However now I have it all set up I think it is worth it for the coverage I have needed and for the speed.
