Yummy fried chicken, with Roza!..... (just for DAL)

Jimmy, all this food you post looks so, so good! But . . . I think you are going to need heavy dosages of Lipitor to keep your arteries from turning to concrete!

Ha ha Fiddles! It's only a very occasional thing... I have been on anti cholesterol pills for years anyway! tongue.png

Some days I just have a fresh salat fresh picked from the garden! wink.png

So, what to do? Make mamuang guan.

Peel and blend (with a little water) and boil for a short time...

Some people put sugar in the mix, we don't.

Spread the paste, like in the pic, on a non- sticky surface...

Let it sun- dry at a fly/insect free place (1 sunny day should do the job), roll up...

Ready to eat, nice, sticky, sweet-sour treat, packed and kept at a cool & dry place, good for a few weeks.

¿They had religion for the main course?

They had religion for 10 days and not much food as I observed.

That was taken in Chiang Rai, Buddhist centre, where they accept kids for religious and social education.

But it was free of charge and gave me the opportunity to visit chiang rai.thumbsup.gif

Boil seasalt in water, cool down and let the bamboo soak in it over night, next day, throw away the water and repeat, fill all in an airtight jar... Wait a few weeks, start to use it; eat up till the next rain season, repeat...
