sumrit Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I use wiziwig and one of the flash player streams on my andriod phone
MiG16 Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 Will check if it works on iPad. Thanks The iPad is pretty hopeless in many ways, have to say Many software, webs still not compatible. Blah blah like that
Chicog Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Steve Jobs decided he hated Flash. So your expensive device is mostly useless for applications like this. 1
rijit Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 thats interesting chicog, another reason 4 me not to swop the next upgrade over to a mac. i'm wondering whether sopcast and acetorrent and torrent stream are ok on a mac?. quess i'll hit the wiziwig forum. And just another thought i started a thread vaguely on streaming and the mods were all over it in about 5 secs flat closed it down and warnin me!!!! but glad to se they've adopted a more 'rational' approach
sumrit Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I've noticed there's getting less and less sopcast streams via wiziwig these days which is a pity because all the streams were better quality. Tried ace torrent but it hijacked all torrent streams so even my P2P UK TV downloads were grabbed and just played by ace torrent and I could no longer download via utorrent. Couldn't find a way to disable it so I uninstalled it. I'm in the UK at the moment and torrent stream doesn't work at all but I suspect it could just be blocked by the ISP here. Does anybody know if it works in Thailand?

Ace Stream seems to use a version of VLC player and works in the UK. But I live in Thailand and download UK TV on a daily basis and the problem for me, as I said, is that it hijacks my P2P downloads but it's banned by those P2P sites I use. So it's not an option. It's interesting you say torrent stream works in the UK. I'm back here temporarily at the moment and just get a cancelled notice whenever I try to use it. I'm using my daughters Virgin internet connection so it's probably them that are blocking it. I know they block some P2P sites.

IMac, Macbook all are fine. I've been using them for 10 years and they are definitely worth the upgrade. You guys should check out: http://www.vipboxsports.me/sports/football.html I've been using this site for 18 months now, clean streams with a choice of all games and multiple sports. There is a little advertising you have to wait to clear for 30 seconds but it is all clear after that, close a couple of pop ups at the start and you're away. If a stream goes down it easy to switch to another. Unless you are really techno challenged it is great.
MiG16 Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 So. Do any of these work on iPad? Anyone? And rij, no whinging please

redrus Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 As of last year my IMac and my Mac Book Pro both download flash and use flash content, funnily enough, after Jobsie died...., are we sure the IPad doesn't..?? Try going to the adobe site, if you haven't already..:-)) redrus
