BANGKOK: -- Today, Deputy Metropolitan Police Anuchai Lekbamrung stated that Thonglor investigators handed over the murder case against Red Bull heir Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya to the prosecutors at the South Bangkok Criminal Court this Monday.

Vorayuth, the 27-year-old grandson of late Red Bull founder Chaleo Yoovidhya, was charged with causing the death of a police officer by reckless and drunk driving. He was subsequently released on THB500,000 bail.

During the drunk driving incident, Vorayuth allegedly banged his black Ferrari into the rear of Pol Snr Sgt Maj Wichian Klanprasert’s motorcycle at 5:30am on Sep. 3, 2012.

Wichian was on duty on Soi Sukhumvit 49 in the Wattana District. Vorayuth dragged the policeman’s body along 200 meters of outbound Sukhumvit road before speeding away to his father’s house on Soi Sukhumvit 53.

Moo to Boss:

"Don't worry mate.

Bring mummy, wear black tie, look suitably contrite, wai anything that moves, wear dark glasses, try not to smirk.

No pompem. "

PS Can you get me a deal on a Testostarossa?

Dont forget " give them a line about not being able to maintain control when stressed, pay some one in a white coat to sign off on it, and you are home and hosed" works for me.

And then just drive yourself away from the courthousew00t.gif

Probe into Red Bull heir's crash completed
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Metropolitan Police Area 5 investigators submitted their final report on the hit-and-run case against Vorayuth Yoovidhya, grandson of the Red Bull energy drink founder, to the Southern Bangkok Court's public prosecutor on Monday.

The 27-year-old Vorayuth crashed his Ferrari into on-duty Pol Senior Sgt-Major Wichien Klanprasert and then fled the scene on September 3, 2012.

City police deputy chief Anuchai Lekbumrung insisted that the police had not dragged their feet but were carefully investigating the case within its time frame of six months. He said police did not fear criticism if the end result turns out like that of Kanpitak "Moo Ham" Patchimsawat, who got given a two-year suspended jail term Tuesday for crashing into a group of people waiting at a bus stop and killing one of them.

My guess is that they are dragging large bags of money to the bank.

Lets hope this case is tried on the evidence and not on the size of the check book, justice is often depicted by a statue holding a set of scales in one hand, a sword in the other with a blindfold covering the eyes, not a bankbook in one hand, a wad of cash in the other and a pair of designer sunnies covering the eyes.

why do i get the feeling that the prosecution,

the family of the deceased

and a bunch of others

will live very comfortable lives?whistling.gif

Wouldn't argue against that.

Nor, I imagine, will the judge.

There may be a few fall into that category, but I don't believe the family, who were paid 800K baht by the son of the models family will be able to sit back and put their feet up will they, nor will the family of the policeman in this case, who are rumoured to have been paid 3 Mill baht...about 2 years salary for a policeman with his untaxable 'extra's', and only 10% of the value of the car that mowed down their breadwinner, Son,husband and father.

These sort of articles really are a waste of time. It's like discussing the outcome of Manchecter U playing the local primary school team, we all know what the outcome will be, what is there to discuss?
