Samsung Tablet And Android App Service By Independent Technician - Where?

I am not a do it yourselfer and have minimal computer skills. I don't have the tine to spend hours (for me actually, DAYS) on techie forums sharing troubleshooting solutions with strangers. Frankly, I 'm an old man who likes to take his razor into the local service centre where he knows the owner-operator by name, and who knows his machine from before - you know, old fashioned one-on-one repair like for typewriters and lawn mowers. Sometimes while you wait. And I am not keen on going to Samsung as they deal with, naturally, their hardware exclusively. When one starts downloading and using third party apps, then there is more problems than if one uses only original Samsung ones. I simply don't have the time to solve my own computer problems - uh, and I don't speak Thai.

Anyone in a similar situation of ignorance and disability who has found a technician who makes his business solving android problems? What I see are generalists and company service centres. But maybe there are specialists...

Mr. Suvan on fifth floor of MBK who deals exclusively in Samsung problems - cheaper but slow

Mr. X who has a stall in Pantip just before the WC who is an expert in HTC and Samsung tablets

Etc. More expensive, but faster.

Cant imagine many software problems that cant be solved with a factory reset ? if its more serious than that then you shouldnt be using unauthorised apps and hope you have learned your lesson, there is a little box to take the tick out of to stop it happening.

If more serious, definitely stick with authorized Samsung repair centre, others will claim they know, often only do the above and charge you big for something you could have done yourself very easily.

Actually I already did that factory reset with my Sony laptop. But then I lose a pile of data, plus all those weird and wonderful commercial softwares that I don't keep the CDs for because I am travelling. I don't want to go through the same with my android. I am not using pirated software (well, not so much) as just independent software found on Play store. Why can't it be solved without essentially killing and reviving the machine? It's like software is an infectious disease instead of a tool! One of my multiple problems is paste no longer working due to having installed chrome browser. Well, thanks a LOT google! Crashes, freezes etc too.

Is there some way of knowing in advance whether an app is going to foul up one's android?

So back up what you want to keep to dongle or sd card first, then reset the machine, then reinstall one by one as soon as the problem repeats you know exactly what is causing it.
