Weather July-August In Bagan

Featured Replies

I would like to bring my sister in Bagan around end of July-first week of August but it seems like is raining season and not so much suggested. I would like to see the Alaungdaw Kathapa Nat.Park.

Any experience?

Hi Angiud

June-July is generally the heaviest rain up in the part of the country - but I think it starts to ease off in August.

Hopefully some other members will give a better account shortly - I must admit that part of the country is not my area of knowledge.

I am also going to contact some folks at the Wildlife and Conservation division in Myanmar to get some info on Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park for you - I have friends who travel there for conservation and wildlife work regularly. Will get in touch with you when I hear back from them,
