A German Guy made me Laugh Today with this !!. His Quote,..."After all my years of Work the Company Benz has gone. I will buy a Truck.... If we had our Old European Wives they would go Mad. Here they are happy." Being German he didn't smile........ how bloody true though.clap2.gifclap2.gif

Duh! only came to this thread because i thought the heading was abbreviated and would continue 'do we all go soft in the head' and i could post negative .

Weeeeeeeeeeell, bit difficult but the crux is ............ old German ladies go mad but Thai ladies don't....................Hence l did not agree, they all go mad, old guys too. laugh.png

Some old guys don't just go mad, they go-go mad. :whistling:

He meant Ferang Ladies wont go down from Car to Truck i suppose.coffee1.gif

....or that Thai ladies are happy with any cars, which is not necessarily true. More Hi-So Thai women won't be caught dead in a pick-up, and have demands that would put most equivalent Farangs women to shame.

Translation: I lived in Germany for 30 years working for Mercedes. We don't have pickup trucks in Germany so when I moved here I thought I would like one as it is different. If I was still with my German wife she would think a truck was beneath her and would not like me to have one.

That's what I figured that he meant.

My Thai wife said from the beginning that she wanted a pickup truck and that's what we bought.

I wanted the Toyota and she wanted the Ford Ranger.

I said that I was paying for it and it was going to be my way.

We still have the Ford after 12 years and nearly 280,000 km and it's still going strong.

On the other hand sometimes comprimise works best. After all we live on 15 rai in the country and have a great 9 year old son.

It could hardly be above her could it.coffee1.gif

Thank Christ someone with translation skills once worked as an interpreter in the Embassy of Jibberish!

Always happy to help the needy even if they are too bubbly upstairs to appreciate it.
