House Available For Rent Ubon Ratchathani

If anyone in the Ubon area is looking for house to rent I know of two. Rentals are quite rare here so thought I would put up a post. Large house close to airport for 9k and nice small 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house for 4500 per month.

4,500 baht a month for 3 beds 2 baths in the vicinity of a large town. Sounds like a bargain considering the rental market in Ubon is supposed to be tight. If we assumed the replacement cost for such a property might be 2 million baht then the gross rental yield for the landlord is 2.7%. NUTS

{OK - that's a bit of an assumption, but even if it were to be only a 1 million baht property the gross rental is still sub-economic for the landlord, IMO}.

Sorry to send the thread off on a slight tangent John, but it just shows that it makes great sense to rent if you can find an ok place. Thai landlords look for their reward in the next generations, not their own. We falang prefer rewards in this life!

The larger house for 9k has been snapped up. I also now know of a two story 4 bedroom 4 aircons up for 6000 a month. And No I am not a agent and yes the houses are in good condition in particular the 4500 per month house. Comes complete with toilet for those who were concerned.
