Firefox 19.0.2 And Facebook Not Working.

Featured Replies

Greetings;

I've been using Firefox 19.0.2 as my browsers and I am
having problems viewing Facebook. About
every week the fonts and the entire Facebook is unreadable. The fonts, layout and not working. They layout is all over the screen.

When I use Internet Explore to browse Facebook, the screen
is ok and readable.

The last couple of times, I have had to uninstall Firefox
from my computer I mean completely, erasing all the links, history, saved
passwords etc from my system and reinstall Firefox back onto my computer. This is a pain, because I end up having to
reinstall each application that goes with it.
I've tried other browsers and they seem to work ok, but they don't have
the features I like such as download from YouTube or other sites and other
features.

What is going on. I
sent a message off to Facebook last week and no one got back to me on what's
happening and a solution to the issue.

Most likely a conflict with one or more of your plug-ins/add-ons. My noscript plug in does this all the time, so I have to routinely disable it to view certain pages. It has a way to permanently disable for certain pages (i.e., white list).

You can go into your plug-in management page and selectively disable certain ones to see if that clears up your FB problem. Please come back & post if you find the culprit, or some other solution.

Agreed, but I would start by going to 'help' at the top of your screen and then 'Restart with addons diabled'. If this solves the problem you will have to go through your addons, disabling one a t a time until you find the culprit. You may well find that No Script is the offender, I stopped using this some time ago as it was becoming troublesome, there are alternatives.
