Maybe try ebay if you don't get any responses here, I see a few for sale sometimes

My son in BKK has a linguaphone course he could sell.

PM me if you are still interested.

I posted on another thread here that they also come on special offer at £100 as opposed to the normal £250. I also know that if you phone them and say you missed the offer , you were away or whatever they will tell you that the offer has been extended and is still open. Especially if you make clear the normal price is beyond your means.

Whereabouts are you?

Is this course any good?

It is excellent and the best I`ve seen so far YMMV.

It covers a wide array of situations you may encounter in Thailand and also includes an introduction to the script.

I was very impressed with the explanatory notes throughout the course offering an insight into concepts that would be very hard to figure out on your own.

cheers

Michael

I haven't used Linguphone before but their ads (in Hong Kong) said that it would "only take three months to learn a language". Something like this, sounds too promising to be true, or depends on how you define "I can speak Thai".

Anyway, have you ever used Pimsleur? "http://www.multilingualbooks.com/pims-thai.html"

I think their approach is quite good too. Have a look!

OP, if you have difficulties obtaining the course then try the below address.

I made enquiries in 1995 to this company but don't know if they're still there.
