I wasn't sure when to post this because of the international posters!

So, happy St patricks day.

I wish I was in Dublin, for the craic will be ninety!

Happy paddys day. :D

Altogether now :o :

I've been a wild rover for many's the year

and I've spent all my money on whiskey and beer.

But now I'm returning with gold in great store

and I never will play the wild rover no more

And it's no, nay, never,

no, nay, never, no more

will I play the wild rover

no, never, no more

I went into an ale-house I used to frequent

and I told the landlady my money was spent.

I asked her for credit, she answered me nay,

"a custom like yours I can have any day

And it's no, nay, never,

no, nay, never, no more

will I play the wild rover

no, never, no more

I took from my pocket ten sovereigns bright

and the landlady's eyes opened wide with delight.

She said I'd have whiskey and wines of the best

and the words that she told me were only in jest.

And it's no, nay, never,

no, nay, never, no more

will I play the wild rover

no, never, no more

I'll go home to my parents, confess what I've done,

and I'll ask them to pardon their prodigal son.

And when they've caressed me as oft' times before

then I never will play the wild rover no more

And it's no, nay, never,

no, nay, never, no more

will I play the wild rover

no, never, no more

And it's no, nay, never,

no, nay, never, no more

will I play the wild rover

no, never, no more

Yes of course I've been there for it, I'm from Dublin - I've never experienced 'violence' only good times and great company...

Well, over here in (and it is today) Sunny Swissland they have pushed the boat out and the Irish bars have got traditional music all the way from Ireland playing all day. I am just about to go and sample some Irish stew!!

Have a good one....

I hope the Irish stew is good, when it is, and the weather's cold outside, it warms the cockels of your heart. It should be so thick that the spoon stands straight up in it. Enjoy.

Oh, by the way today a year ago, I was in your neck of the woods - dancing in Tropical Murphys!!! The band playing was called the Red Hot Potatoes....

In Tokyo they have a street parade in Omote sando. That's where I'll be on Sunday!

:o

A St Patricks day parade in Tokyo? That's just great!

"And her eyes they shone like diamonds, I thought her the queen of the land, and her hair it hung over her shoulders tied up with a black velvet band".

Well, I'm off down to Mulligans Irish Pub in about 10 minutes to taste the stew and perhaps sample a guiness or two or a kilkenny with a Jamesons chaser....

The pub was too packed last night. They took forever to get me a bleedin' pint. Imagine the shakes I got, my friend!

It's now 8am on 18th in London and I now wish that Arthur Guinness had invented mineral water or something more useful and less painful.

A belated happy Paddy's Day to those from the Emerald Isle and, as the saying goes, "may your soul be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead."
