Sisaket -Farang Places

Featured Replies

I will be in sisaket end of may and was wondering if any new farang places have started up (bars, restaurants etc).

Last time I was there (November 2012) the most popular place was the CUCKOOS NEST. Is it still open?

Thanks

There is a new restaurant called 'Pop in' that has a good and inexpensive range of farang (& Thai) meals. Its straight past the hospital, then 2nd exit at the clocktower and across the road when you reach the very end of that road.

The oldest and longest running Farang bar is still a favourite, Frank and Nongs 'Livin in the Past', who also does a great range of farang meals. I believe the cuckoo's nest is still open.

Hope that helps answer your question.

Was there a few times and it was pretty good. But the last time I'd ordered a pizza with extra cheese, paid 100 baht more for it and had not even one gram of cheese on my pizza.

I've seen a Thai guy there who'd made the nice stuff. Guess he was the "Chef". Seems that he's gone. My advice to the owner: Put cheese on pizza, nobody wants a cheese less. pizza, excluding some Thais.

My friend took his son to this place, he ate spaghetti in 10 seconds as it was only two spoons of food. Raise the prize and people will appreciate it.

Guess many people don't come back, because they want to have some good food, pay good money and get almost nothing for it. Good day.

Hi dreaming

Yes... we are open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm+ at the Cuckoo's Nest. We hope you drop in to see us.

Cheers, Brian, Aew + Fon
