the gentleman Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 As a movie buff myself, interested to know, what movies were the best and the worst of the last couple of years in your opinion. I think THE HULK was one of the worst and offcourse KILL BILL was a let down. Not sure of any "great ones", but THE RING, RUNAWAY JURY, ITALIAN JOB, MATRIX and MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING were not to bad.
The Gentleman Scamp Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 WILLARD was good, not everyone's taste I suppose but it was original, had a lot of rats in it and was very very sad, in fact it almost made me cry - I say almost because I was in the company of men's men, and I'd see it again if i hadn't made the unwise chice of buying a tempremental, awful, unreliable Samsung DVD player from Bangkok's FreeMart. It starred Crispin Glover who is probably best known for playing Marty McFly's father in Back To The Future.

the gentleman Posted February 16, 2004 Author Posted February 16, 2004 What about snatch , unbreakable, the salton sea, identity, fight club <yes !>, brotherhood of the wolf, blade just a few, snatch was great, did you see formula 51 (might of had another name elsewhere), it had the little bloke out of the fully monty, meatloaf and Samual l Jackson - same vein as lock stock and snatch. The Salton Sea?, who was in it?
mrentoul Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 WILLARD was good, not everyone's taste I suppose but it was original, had a lot of rats in it and was very very sad Original? Maybe you didn't see the 1971 version, with Bruce Davison and Ernest Borgnine.
issan2 Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 You are talking about the 51st state ? Yes Ive gt a copy of that here .. bought it in Brussels. Brought to Thailand. The Salton Sea was Val Kilmers last (?) film. Very cool, about drug culture and revenge.
