Ive been using it for pretty professional things as well; its got a good video

see some clips Ive done with it:

The resolution is 24 MPX so big;

I personally find it too grainy when u go over ISO 800 but I guess its a good value for money

also if u are interested,

we will be lunching new edition of our photography courses in Bangkok.

PM me if you are interested

Man I would love to attend, but am based in Phuket :( what about lenses? the standard kit comes with 1 18-55 I think. Is this enough, or shall i get another whilst I am spending?

Total novice, but got a little one on the way and want to get some practice in before he arrives

This is standard lens which is good for the begining.

Later you know. The further you go the more stuff you need ;-)

U can always spend a fortune on lenses

but there are always cheap options as well.

Once again, it all depends what you wanna do later.

I'd start with this one and then decide if u need anything else ;-)

Hope that helps
