Dropped Htc Desire / Where To Repair?

Featured Replies

I love my qwerty HTC. I dropped it, not too badly, it works except sound output, microphone and every other smart function seems ok. Restart= no impact.

1.Where to take

2. even more important = how to protect my data from access?

Take it to the top floor of Airport Plaza, new wing. Several small repair shops there that do good work.

As for protecting data from access.. you could do a factory reset, wiping everything (after backing it up) and supplying it to the shop without SIM.

I wouldn't be too worried about the usual small stuff though; you better have something significant to protect. (In which case it probably shouldn't be on your phone at all.)

Do log out of anything that stores a password though, like your e-mail, Facebook, etc.

In Panthip plaza someone can fix your phone. Many shops around on the first floor.

Protect your data : make a back-up on your computer and than delete everything that is important on the phone !

Look on 3th floor Airport Plaza. I saw HTC sale/service Center last time I visited.

cnx355 perfect , with clandestine shot! That´s what I´been hoping for. There are many shops, I know but a little bit more specificity makes a difference in info quality

No luck , neither HTC nor any other repair shop would touch the qwerty, May have to take it back to Germany.
