Ipad Apps Stopped Updating...how To Fix?

Featured Replies

The apps on my iPad 3rd generation have stopped updating themselves. The apps app connects to the apple server and shows several of the apps have updates available but when I press the update all button and enter my password, the update bar appears under the app but nothing happens.

This has been the case for several weeks now. The same apps show with updates available, the download bar shows under the app (the apps are also not available for use), but nothing downloads/updates. There is plenty of space on the pad and I have done a hard shutoff and restart.

Anyone else ever had this problem and found a solution?

Solved...deleted offending apps and redownloaded them.

I made the mistake of buying a 32 GB iPhone as well as an iPad. There are just so many incredible apps available that I too quickly ran out of memory. I can't even update all the apps due to the memory availability.

I can only guess you are referring to apps that take up loads of memory when you say you deleted the offending apps. Is that the case?

I learned my lesson and will go for the max memory in the future when I buy new.
