Looking For The Taiwanese Community In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi,

My Taiwanese partner is struggling to adjust to life in Thailand and has yet to find a job or make any new friends here. Does anyone know of any sort of Taiwanese community here in Bangkok that she can hook up with? Anyone got any appropriate links or venues that she could check out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I do have one suggestion which could be instituted immediately, and that would be to begin language study as soon as possible.

Joining a Thai language class where the students are serious about learning Thai, maybe at a university, would be a good route to meet people, make friends, and prepare for life in Thailand.

There should be some Taiwan groups at universities I would guess.

And you might want to find out which schools have more Taiwanese studying in which programs.
