Where Can I Buy A Ps3 In Samui?

Featured Replies

I would really appreciate some advice about where to get the best price for a PS3 here in Samui. I have checked out the gaming store across from Makro and I think the same chain in Lamai but both were asking around 15k bht with a game which seems pretty expensive. Has anybody else bought one since they've lived out here? I've heard if I ship my own one from the UK over I'd have problems with the dlc too. Can anyone help! Thanks.

Wait till the 4 comes out shortly; get someone to bring it with them who is coming to visit if you want the PS3. They are crazy expensive in Thailand for some reason

ONLY buy from Sirisin ( just before Makro on the right coming from Tesco), they can order from suratthani branch and you have it in a couple of days. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THAT CHAIN OF GAMING SHOPS. you will find there is NO warranty and the PS3s are refurbed and past manufacturers warranty, I have a crashed one at home from them which is of no use to anybody, Sony refused to touch it as had 3rd paty parts installed.

You have been warned !

Regards

A.

thanks for the advice so far. i'll be sure to give toysgame@samui a miss and check out that shop next to makro tomorrow instead. i've looked at the nadz website too but was a bit worried about not being able to read the thai parts even when i'd figured out how to translate the bulk of it into english. the prices were really good though! if the shop here is as competitive i'll give them a try but if not will see if i can get someone to help with the nadz one again.

You can get the Manuals online.
