Parcel From Singapore

Featured Replies

i need to get a smallish parcel sent from Singapore to Nong Khai , however the supplier does not post /courier , i have to organise pickup and my own method of freight ..any ideas of the most cost efficient / reliable way to do this ?

If it is a small parcel you can instruct DHL to pick it up from your supplier in Singapore. You can open a DHL account with them in Udon. I did it once with both DHL and TNT and it worked well.

EMS, far cheaper than DHL, you still get a tracking number, insurance if you want, every post office in Thailand has EMS.

If it is a bit bigger DHL have a road express sevice from SIngapore wwhich may be a bit cheaper.

Try to avoid Fedex Dhl or Ups try to get someone to send it via post from Singapore and should be no import duty or taxes. I don't know what you are buying but most stuff on the web is free shipping via Singapore or China.

I have posted many small parcels from Singapore to Thailand, always used the government postal service in Singapore. You must send it registered though, always got there. Sent a parcel once without registered post and it never arrived though.
