If one apply for a support visa (marriage) and has the needed 200,000 Baht in a joint bank account, but is still working in a Thai company (paying all taxes), is it necessary to provide also all the company papers?

Nope...no company papers needed. Are you on an extended B visa now ?

Yes I am.

As all company papers are needed for the work permit, would be no harm to present to the Immigration. Or better not?

thanks,

Didier

Is there a point to making a change of classification anyway ? You already have an extended Non-Immigrant visa.

Because I will retire in 1 years time, I like to profit from the existing 200,000 Baht rule.

For the future I don't like to block 400,000 Baht in a bank account.

Are my thoughts wrong?

I'd go on into Immigration with WP and passport...marriage papers etc. and have a friendly chat about it, they can help you if they are of a mind to. You can work on an O spousal visa. Good luck...
