What's this about the place closing down shortly.

I love going there on a daily basis when I come to my apartment on Soi 11 during the Winter (English.) Not for the little girls there I hasten to add, although they fetch my paper, my beer and my bits and pieces in exchange for a meal in the fish restaurant complex opposite. Nice company when you get to know them.

Convenient, opens at 10am, decent prices, peaceful but with plenty to observe as the day progresses, it has become my favourite place in Bkk. to spend that pertinent three or four hours, on a daily basis whilst drinking my beer and reading the Post.

What will be my alternatives when this place closes? Please don't suggest plastic Gullivers. Where will all the little ladies migrate to when this place closes?

Sad days and for just another condo block, hotel or Plaza I presume.

Slowly but surely all the 'character' zones around my area are being demolished for the same old tosheroni.

Never heard of that place

Hi, I have heard that comment several times in the last year or so. I have been going to the BG since 1993, while living here and on my frequent visits. I agree it is a special place and I have had many memorable stories, made many friends from all over the world. And of course the ladies I have know and still know in many case.

I understand from people outside of the BG that it will be gone as early as next year for sadly enough some type of condo building.

I hope not, it's one of my favorite places and I'm going to miss them all, staff, expats, and all those gals.

Never heard of that place

It's a place where college girls and free-lancers hang out to pick up

foreigners in order to be able to afford the cost of their "tuition."

Is it soi 7 near sukmovent ?

Or what main street is it near thanks ?
